Many Bears fans were caught off guard by reports surfacing Monday evening about Fields’ Instagram page. Fields doesn’t follow the Bears on his Instagram page. It’s unclear if Fields ever followed the Bears before. However, Fields is following several Falcons offensive players on his account.

Fields is a native of Georgia. He played one year at Georgia before transferring to Ohio State to finish his college career. Fields admitted before the Bears/Falcons game in the 2022 season that he grew up as a fan of the Falcons.
Oddsmakers seem to like the story arc of Fields returning to Georgia. Per Action Network HQ, the Falcons’ odds of landing Fields went from +275 on Monday to +150 on Tuesday.
However, the Falcons do not have the best odds to trade for Fields. Per DraftKings, the Pittsburgh Steelers are the favorites to have Fields under center next season with -120 odds.
Fields’ interview on the 33rd Team’s “St Brown Bros” podcast is set to air Wednesday. Fields will address the Instagram controversy. We’ll see if the odds trend even more toward the Falcons…
