The Phoenix Suns (39-29) and Philadelphia 76ers (38-30) have similar records, but are in different spots in terms of injuries heading into tomorrow night’s matchup.
Joel Embiid will miss his 23rd consecutive game due to a meniscus injury for Philadelphia tomorrow night. The 76ers are 9-13 so far during this stretch without the reigning MVP.
Meanwhile, the Suns have pretty much their full rotation healthy. Here is what the injury report looks like for Phoenix tomorrow:
Bol Bol – PROBABLE (Right Ankle Sprain)
Josh Okogie – OUT (Lower Abdominal Strain)
Damion Lee – OUT (Right Meniscus Surgery)
Bol’s injury is new for Phoenix, while Okogie will be out for the ninth straight game. Lee has missed the entire season so far.
Embiid is far from the only 76ers’ player dealing with an injury. This is how Philadelphia’s injury report looks:
Tobias Harris – QUESTIONABLE (right ankle sprain)
Joel Embiid – OUT (left knee meniscus procedure)
Robert Covington – OUT (left knee bone bruise)
De’Anthony Melton – OUT (lumbar spine bone stress)
Kai Jones – OUT (right hamstring strain)
Harris, who is averaging 17.1 points this season, has missed two straight games with his injury, so we’ll see if he’s good to go tomorrow.
The Suns enter tomorrow having lost two of their last three and showing some very obvious struggles even while fully healthy. On the other hand, the 76ers have won two straight.
Tomorrow night’s matchup tips off at 7 p.m. MST from Footprint Center.
