If you’re a college football fan, you’ve almost certainly seen the viral videos of Roll Tide Willie, an Alabama fan who has become an internet sensation thanks catchphrases like “I don’t give a pi– about nothing but the Tide” and “Blitz Bama Blitz”.
Over the weekend, former Tennessee Vols star running back Alvin Kamara was at Talladega for Sunday’s NASCAR race.
Kamara, a noted NASCAR fan who started his career at Alabama before eventually transferring to Tennessee, ran into Roll Tide Willie at the race and he joined the viral Crimson Tide fan for a photo op/video.
Roll Tide Willy delivered his trademark catchphrases alongside a joyful Kamara.
“Man what a blessing to meet this man…we hate [he] left Bama but we’re still big fans,” wrote Roll Tide Willie in an Instagram post.
Before Vols fans get concerned that Kamara has a soft spot for Alabama, he was quick to post on his Instagram story after meeting Roll Tide Willie that “it’s still go Vols”.
Nothing goes together quite like Talladega and college football.
