On April 23, the New York Jets finally did the inevitable and traded their former first-round quarterback, Zach Wilson.
The Denver Broncos gave up a sixth-round selection for Wilson in return.
After wearing the number two in his tenure as a Jet, Dov Kleiman shared on Thursday that Wilson will now wear the number 10 as a Bronco.
That number was made available when receiver Jerry Jeudy was traded to the Cleveland Browns earlier this spring.
Wilson was the second overall pick by New York in 2021 and played three turbulent years for the franchise.

Wilson was the second overall pick by New York in 2021 and played three turbulent years for the franchise.
He started 33 games and posted a 12-21 record during that time.
Wilson also passed for 6,293 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions for an overall rating of 73.2.
Before last season, the Jets signed former Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
New York kept Wilson in hopes that he would learn from Rodgers and correct his shortcomings.
Instead, Rodgers sustained a season-ending injury four plays into the year and Wilson was thrown into the fray.
A leaky offensive line and a benching in favor of Tim Boyle led to 2,271 yards, eight touchdowns, seven picks, and a career-high 46 sacks for Wilson.
He then sustained a concussion in Week 15 and was lost for the remainder of the year.
Hopefully, the quarterback will have a fresh start with head coach Sean Payton, himself a former quarterback and tutor to Drew Brees.
Denver currently has Wilson and Jarrett Stidham as their top two signal-callers.
- That has led to several rumors that the team will take a quarterback with their 12th overall pick.
