THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – The Los Angeles Rams on Thursday traded wide receiver Ben Skowronek and a 2026 7th-round pick to the Houston Texans in exchange for a 2026 6th-round pick.
A longtime special teams contributor during his time in L.A., Skowronek played in 45 games across three seasons with the Rams, making 12 starts. He was also part of their Super Bowl LVI-winning team in 2021.
On offense, his most productive season statistically came in 2022, when he registered 39 receptions for 376 yards and also scored a 17-yard rushing touchdown. That season was also highlighted by his impressive sideline catch against the Raiders on Thursday Night Football that helped set up Baker Mayfield’s game-winning touchdown pass to Van Jefferson.
He originally entered the NFL as a seventh-round draft pick out of Notre Dame by the Rams in 2021. Overall, he recorded 58 receptions for 575 yards and one touchdown, plus three carries for 26 yards and one touchdown and 22 tackles in three seasons.
