We are wrapping up the first half of the MLB season. All-Star weekend starts on July 12 at Globe Life Field down in Arlington, Texas. The Boston Red Sox are fighting for a playoff spot as they currently sit at 49-40.
Even though they weren’t expected to be real threats this season, they have been battling. They have two All-Stars Rafael Devers and Jarren Duran, who have played a major role for the Red Sox.
Despite being selected to represent the club in the 2024 All-Star Game, Devers has decided to sit out in the mid-summer classic.
