And Aberdeen’s Josh Heupel who is now in his 4th year at Tennessee where the Volunteers have been fun to watch. Even though schools like Alabama, Georgia and now Oklahoma are in the conference, expectations haven’t changed one bit for the Volunteers after Josh has turned the program around.
Josh Heupel, Tennessee FB Coach says, “At the end of the day the standard at Tennessee is to win championships. We’re in a race to get there as fast as we can. We’ve done a lot of great things in the last 3 years, last season included. I’m proud of the steps we have taken, but we have to continue to climb. And at the end of the day you have to win every single day.”
The Vols have had a great run of QB’s under the former Oklahoma quarterback who led the Sooners to a national title. This year they will rely on a young a talented signal-caller (freshman) to lead the way in the toughest conference in college football.
