The Jamaican ace is looking forward to having a great run at the Olympic Games after having great training sessions in the camp.
Goule-Toppin explained that having achieved a season best time in the build up to the Olympics is a sign that she is on the right track as far as her training is concerned. She exuded confidence and excitement, and is looking forward to represent Jamaica in the best possible way.
The 33-year-old added that the organisers and athletes are looking good and the Caribbean nation might just pull off a surprise in the French capital.
“I’m looking forward to it and I’m feeling confident and I’m feeling happy, knowing that I just achieved a season-best coming into Paris, which is the right time. I’m looking forward to representing Jamaica well,” Goule-Toppin told Nationwide90 FM.
“It went well, everyone did a great job from the organisers and the athletes, they all went out there and did their training and I think we are ready and prepared to do our utmost best in Paris,” she added.
