The first season of the Schirmer Era for the Mocs will officially kick off on November 4 in McKenzie Arena, marking the first of a 13-game non-conference slate for UTC to open the 2024-25 season.
“We have a very challenging non-conference schedule that we feel will be a good test to prepare us for the conference season,” Coach Schirmer said. “Playing powerhouse teams like Nebraska and Mississippi State on the road will be important challenges for this team to face at the start of the season.”
“We will be traveling to Florida for some holiday tournaments that will give us four great destination games that our fans and family can hopefully attend. They can enjoy the sunshine as well as some very high-level basketball games.”
