Ahead of their first preseason game on Sunday, the Los Angeles Rams are shuffling their 90-man roster. The team made five moves on Tuesday, signing three offensive linemen and waiving two undrafted rookies.
The two players they waived are tight end Neal Johnson and safety Kenny Logan Jr. Both are buried at extremely deep positions and were viewed as long shots to make the 53-man roster, so they’ll now be eligible to land with another team on the waiver wire.
To take their spots on the roster, the Rams signed linemen Matt Kaskey, Alec Lindstrom and Conor McDermott. With injuries to Jonah Jackson, Alaric Jackson and Rob Havenstein, Sean McVay clearly felt the team needed more depth along the offensive line this summer
