
All eyes were on Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese as the rookie superstar and her team took on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever υon August 30. While the highly-anticipated matchup took place at Wintrust Arena, there were numerous times it felt a home game for the Fever. The Sky start off strong, but Clark and Fever usurped the lead long before halftime and never let it go in their dominant 100-81 victory. Clark went off with a career-high 31 points, 12 assists, and 4 rebounds. She became the first player in WNBA history to record her third game in a season with 25+ points and 10+ assists. While Reese struggled at the rim, she pushed to finish the game with 10 points and 11 rebounds, recording her 23rd double-double on the season — the most ever by a rookie. And that’s not all.
