The identity of Richardson’s current romantic partner remains unknown. Based on her recent social media activity, it does seem like she has one, however.
Richardson teased a new lover on her Instagram story Thursday evening, posting a picture of a bouquet of red and white roses accompanied by a card that read, “The love of my life.” She followed up that photo with a screenshot acknowledging that Aug. 1 — the day of her initial post — was, in fact, National Girlfriend Day.
Richardson is bisexual. She revealed as much in a post on X, the website formerly known as Twitter, back in 2015. She’s remained fairly tight-lipped on her romantic life as of late, although she was in a high-profile relationship with Jamaican hurdler Janeek Brown until 2022.
“There are things Richardson just won’t talk about. Her personal life is off-limits,” wrote journalist Maya Singer in a Vogue feature about Richardson released last month.
She’s been regularly linked with fellow American sprint star Christian Coleman over the past few months. However, there’s little evidence that the two have actually been dating outside of internet chatter.
Given the content of Richardson’s latest post, we’ll file that rumor in the trash folder for now.
