Reese has been doing everything she can to be a supportive teammate as the Sky battle for a spot in the WNBA Playoffs. This was exactly the case on Sunday night as Reese put on her coaching cap to try and assist her team from the sidelines. At one point in the game, the 22-year-old was having a rather animated conversation with Chicago head coach Teresa Weatherspoon — a moment that immediately went viral on social media. September 15, 2024 As of writing, the above clip has already amassed close to 150,000 views in less than 10 hours since it was posted. It is unclear what Reese told her coach as well as what Weatherspoon’s response was. However, there’s no denying that Angel is doing everything she can from the sidelines to try and help the Sky get a win.
Unfortunately for Chicago, this just wasn’t the case on Sunday. They suffered their third straight loss after falling to the Mercury, 93-88. The Sky now have a record of 13-25 and are in a three-way tie with the Washington Mystics and the Atlanta Dream for the eighth and final playoff spot.
