Despite another outstanding year from T.J. Watt, the Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker lost out to Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett for the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award.
This season, Watt racked up 68 tackles, 19 sacks, four forced fumbles and an interception. Garrett had 42 tackles, 14 sacks and four forced fumbles.
Watt has earned the award once in his career in 2021 but has arguably been snubbed multiple times. Following the announcement that Garrett had won the award, fans took to social media to express their frustrations. Even Watt chimed in to let everyone know his thoughts.
