he New York Jets‘ season seemed to be on the right track after back-to-back wins with Aaron Rodgers at the helm. The victories came against two of the NFL‘s weakest teams, the winless Tennessee Titans (0-4) and the struggling New England Patriots (1-3). In both games, Rodgers threw two touchdownpasses without any interceptions. However, the Jets’ offense stalled once again in their recent 10-9 loss to the Denver Broncos, mirroring their sluggish start against San Francisco. The defense remains the team’s strength, a trend that has persisted sinceRobert Saleh took over as head coach in 2021. Saleh, who has a 20-35 record, has yet to guide the Jets to the playoffs. In fact, the Jets haven’t made the playoffs since 2010, holding the longest active playoff drought in the NFL and North American team sports.
