Caitlin Clark was announced as the Associated Press Rookie of the Year for 2024 on Sept. 22. On Thursday, the WNBA officially named her as the league’s Rookie of the Year as the Indiana Fever star went 2-for-2 for this prestigious individual honor. Coming in at second place is Angel Reese, who incidentally, actually got one ROTY vote. That one vote denied Clark a unanimous win. It’s no surprise that it was Clark who bagged the WNBA ROTY title. After all, she had a better year than Reese after the former Iowa superstar led the Fever to their first playoff appearance since 2016. It was business as usual for the Chicago Sky star as she went on with her day after the big news about Clark.
