This Belarusian player ended her 2024 WTA Tour Finals campaign on a bittersweet note following a defeat to America’s Coco Gauff in Riyadh. Despite finishing the season as WTA number one, Sabalenka couldn’t clinch her first WTA Finals title. Glad with her season, she soon joined her partner, Oakberry CEO Georgios Frangulis, in the City of Love, Paris, for a romantic getaway.
On Instagram, Sabalenka shared glimpses of their Parisian retreat. In one story, she held two Polaroid photos with Frangulis as her muse. Another snapshot captured the couple on a delightful food date. Sabalenka captioned the post, “Romantic getaway trip,” pairing it with her signature purple heart emoji, often reserved for her boyfriend.
In a subsequent post, she revealed a bedroom adorned with white rose petals and two tennis racquets artistically arranged as a bouquet. This romantic touch delighted Sabalenka, who captioned it, “@fsgeorgevparis what a surprise I don’t wanna leave this place.” The couple chose to stay at the luxurious Four Seasons George V Paris, Europe’s only hotel with six Michelin stars, where Sabalenka expressed gratitude for the thoughtful hospitality. However, this was not Sabalenka’s only Parisian update. Two days earlier, she had posted a cozy snapshot of herself wrapped in a white duvet alongside Frangulis, playfully kissing his cheek. She captioned it, “This way I can fly every day @georgiosfrangulis,” radiating the joy of her getaway.
