Freshman linebacker Xavier Atkins, junior cornerback Jyaire Brown and freshman cornerback Bernard Causey are all set to enter the portal
Atkins played in seven games, briefly earning a role in the rotation, but did not play in LSU’s last three games. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.
Atkins finished with three tackles. He was a four-star recruit from Humble, Texas, ranked No. 334 overall in the country, according to the 247Sports composite.
Brown, who spent part of his upbringing in New Orleans, transferred from Ohio State last year. He appeared in three of LSU’s first five games but did not play the second half of the season. He recorded three tackles.
