Few programs in all of college football experienced as much transfer portal activity as Oregon State during the last calendar year.
Following the departure of longtime head coach Jonathan Smith, the Beavers lost the majority of their key players to the portal, including all-conference standouts Damien Martinez, Akili Arnold and Silas Bolden. They also reloaded with plenty of talent through the portal.
Anthony Hankerson, Darrius Clemons and Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan, among others, made significant contributions after transferring to OSU last offseason.
This winter, Trent Bray and his staff will once again look for opportunities to improve their roster through the portal.
While many players around the country have already publicly announced their intention to transfer, the 2024 winter portal window will officially open on Dec. 9 for FCS football players and will close on Dec. 28. In the coming weeks, the Statesman Journal will keep a running list of every player who has publicly announced their intention to depart or join Oregon State by way of the portal.

Beavers who have entered the transfer portal
OLB DJ Wesolak (Nov. 29)
In the hours following Oregon State’s season-ending loss to Boise State, 247Sports reported redshirt freshman outside linebacker DJ Wesolak intends to enter the transfer portal. Wesolak has since been removed from OSU’s roster.
A former four-star recruit in the 2022 signing class, Wesolak was the No. 243 overall prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports. He spent his freshman season at Missouri before transferring to Oregon State last offseason. During his lone season with the Beavers, Wesolak played 24 snaps in three games.
