The Oklahoma Sooners are attacking the transfer portal, which is something that you have to do in today’s college football world. And, with how many players they have lost already, attacking the portal would be the best idea. So, they have done just that.
The portal opened up earlier in the week, and players started flying in, submitting their paperwork that they were ready for a new journey in their college football careers. The Sooners have already offered some players scholarships, varying from offensive linemen, defensive linemen, wide receivers, and tight ends.
Mid-way through the week, the Sooners dropped a ton of offers for players they feel can help them for 2025. So far, here are the newest players with offers that I’ve been able to catch:
- Washington State RB, Wayshawn Parker
- Cal WR, Nyziah Hunter
- Stoney Brook DL, Rushawn Lawrence
The Sooners are also set to host a few players as well.
- Miami (OH) transfer wide receiver Reggie Virgil
- Western Carolina transfer offensive lineman Derek Simmons
- Tulsa transfer defensive lineman RJ Jackson
The Sooners are dedicated to trying to make this team better. They simply cannot have a season like the one they just had. This 2025 season next year has to be a huge improvement.
