The Oklahoma Sooners are going to be without one of their veteran players for 2025, and, well, the rest of eternity.
According to the player himself, offensive lineman Spencer Brown is entering the 2025 NFL Draft.

Spencer Brown first played college football at Michigan State before transferring to Oklahoma as a graduate student, with one year of eligibility left after completing his degree. For Michigan State, he accumulated 24 starts in 33 games. His high school achievements marked him as a three-star recruit and one of the premier offensive tackles in his recruiting class.
In 2023, following the opening of the transfer portal, Brown drew attention from top programs like Oklahoma, USC, and Ole Miss, ultimately choosing Oklahoma on December 6, 2023. His choice was largely due to the chance to be coached by Bill Bedenbaugh, renowned for preparing linemen for the NFL.
At Oklahoma, Brown joined an offensive line in flux, with many players moving to the NFL or transferring. He was viewed as a potential starting right tackle, bringing much-needed experience and leadership to a youthful squad.
