A lot of the Texas Longhorn faithful along with the rest of the college football world have been enamored with Arch Manning. He comes from a long line of star quarterbacks in the NFL and his talents could very well make him the next big thing in the pros. But, not everyone shares the same sentiment about him.
Heid Manning, the Texas quarterback’syounger brother, have a very close connection to one another. They obviously grew up in the same household and were under the guidance of Cooper Manning. So, it comes to no one’s surprise that the freshman does not quite get why his older brother is getting this much acclaim, via Chip Brown of 247 Sports.
“When I meet new people, they get all excited and ask me about him like he’s some sort of superhero. But to me, he’s just the same guy who still doesn’t know how to work a microwave. Arch and I are living completely different lives. We do have a lot of crossovers though,” the younger Manning told 247Sports.
Heid is currently a freshman student at Texas. While his brother followed the footsteps of their uncles and grandfather, he opted to blaze his own path to the NFL.
With his size of 225 pounds at six feet, he could surely develop into a star at Austin. Hopefully, he can teach his older brother a thing or two about microwaves while they reside on the same campus.
