CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Several members of both the men’s and women’s cross country programs garnered All-ACC Academic Team honors for the 2024 season as announced by the league office.
Five student-athletes from the men’s side and six members of the women’s team were named to their respective academic team lists. Ethan Coleman, Robbie Cozean, Drew Griffith, CJ Singleton and Carter Solomon all represented the Irish men’s team for the 2024 listing. Mary Bonner Dalton, Siona Chisholm, Emily Covert, Gretchen Farley, Reagan Riley and Erin Strzelecki all garnered honors for the Irish women’s team.
The All-ACC Academic men’s team was composed of 126 student-athletes while the women’s team featured 155 student-athletes from ACC member schools.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced that senior distance runner Siona Chisholm was one of 35 student-athletes who were selected as 2025 Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford Postgraduate Scholarship Award recipients.
According to the ACC, the Weaver-James-Corrigan-Swofford postgraduate scholarships are awarded to selected student-athletes who intend to pursue a graduate degree after completing their undergraduate requirements. Each recipient will receive $9,000 toward his or her graduate education. Those honored have performed with distinction in both the classroom and their respective sport while demonstrating exemplary conduct in the community and were approved by the league’s Faculty Athletic Representatives (FARs) at the ACC Winter Meetings.
