Penn State Wrestling’s Luke Lilledahl defeated top-seeded Matt Ramos in the 125lbs semifinals, while Minnesota’s Vance Vombaur took down No. 1 seed Beau Bartlett in the 141lbs semifinals.
Other notable matchups include Drake Ayala vs. Lucas Byrd in the 133lbs final and Gable Steveson vs. Greg Kerkvliet in the 285lbs final.
The team scores currently have Penn State leading with 145.0 points, followed by Nebraska with 118.5 points and Iowa with 98.0 points.
The finals will take place tomorrow, March 9, with several highly anticipated matchups on the schedule.
