Alumni Association to host wrestling ‘Roar Tour’ in Philadelphia on March 22
Penn Staters will gather for a special ‘Roar Tour’ event before the final session of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships at the Wells Fargo Center.
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — With the Penn State wrestling team vying for another national championship in March, the Penn State Alumni Association will host a special Penn State wrestling “Roar Tour” event in conjunction with the Philadelphia Chapter.
The event will take place from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, at the Victory Beer Hall at Xfinity Live in Philadelphia. Penn Staters will be able to show off their Blue & White pride and mingle with fellow Nittany Lions fans before the final session of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships kicks off at the Wells Fargo Center.
The event will feature a tailgate-inspired menu and select beverage options. The Victory Beer Hall is located a short distance from the Wells Fargo Center, making it easy for fans with tickets to the championship to arrive before the event starts.
Alumni Association members can register for the discounted rate of $35, while non-members can register for $50. Non-members have the option to join upon registration for as little as $25, which will let them take advantage of the discounted $35 event rate. Registration is open now.
These gatherings, hosted in partnership with local alumni chapters, are a perfect opportunity to meet with fellow Penn Staters in your area, while supporting our incredible Nittany Lion student-athletes. The Philadelphia area is one of our strongest and most active alumni networks, and we encourage you to show your Blue & White pride while supporting one of Penn State’s most storied programs.
