The Philadelphia 76ers will continue their 6-game road trip on Monday when they take on the Houston Rockets on the second night of a back-to-back and they will do it while missing a key big man.
With Joel Embiid, Andre Drummond, and Adem Bona all sidelined with injuries, the Sixers were relying on Guerschon Yabusele to play the center spot. As they prepare for the Rockets, Yabusele was ruled out due to right knee soreness so the Sixers had to go even smaller.
In place of Yabusele, the Sixers will start Oshae Brissett as he will join Jared Butler, Quentin Grimes, Justin Edwards, and Ricky Council IV in the starting lineup.
With the Sixers going so small, they will need all hands on deck against Rockets star Alperen Sengun who can take games over for Houston. Tip off from the Toyota Center is set for 8 p.m. EDT as Philadelphia looks for its second straight win.
