Minnesota United FC has bolstered its roster by signing MNUFC2 forward Darius Randell and goalkeeper Kayne Rizvanovich to Short-Term Agreements, making them available for the MLS regular-season match against the LA Galaxy.
Randell, a 17-year-old forward from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, joined MNUFC2 in August 2024 after progressing through the MNUFC Academy’s U17 and U19 teams. Standing at 6’0” and weighing 160 lbs, he has demonstrated significant potential within the club’s development system.
Rizvanovich, also 17, is a goalkeeper from Mettawa, Illinois. He has earned recognition on the international stage, receiving a call-up to the United States Men’s Youth National Team U18 squad. In September 2024, he secured a 2-0 shutout victory against Peru’s U17 side, playing the full 90 minutes.
These signings reflect Minnesota United’s commitment to integrating young talent from their developmental teams into the first-team environment, providing valuable experience and strengthening the squad depth for upcoming fixtures.
