After another historic tournament, two Penn State wrestlers were named finalists for the Hodge Trophy, the award given to the most dominant wrestler in the country.
Mitchell Mesenbrink and Carter Starocci were named finalists for the award, joining Oklahoma State’s Wyatt Hendrickson.
Mesenbrink went undefeated en route to a national championship and won the award for most tech falls in the season.
Starocci was another undefeated wrestler, winning his historic fifth national title while moving up a weight class to 184 pounds.
Voting ends Friday, March 28 and the winner will be announced on Monday, March 31.
