After missing most of 2024 with a foot injury, Seattle may have gotten a steal of a deal if Lawrence is able to stay healthy in the coming years.

Flush with cap space after moving on from several high-priced veterans, the Seattle Seahawksdeployed much of that cap space by adding former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold, wide receiver Cooper Kupp from the Los Angeles Ramsand Dallas Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence.

With all three of those veterans inked to deals early in free agency, fans have wondered what the holdup is with the details of the contracts being made known, but the long wait is finally over. So, without wasting any further time, here are the details:

• 2025: $5.15M base salary, $6.6M signing bonus, $850k per game roster bonuses
• 2026: $8.15M base salary, $850k per game roster bonuses
• 2027: $9.68M base salary, $850k per game roster bonuses

Breaking those financials down into what they mean for the salary cap, the cap hits are set to be as follows:

• 2025: $7.55M ($5.15M base salary, $2.2M signing bonus proration, $200k per game roster bonuses, with $50k additional each time Lawrence is active after his fourth game of the year)
• 2026: $11.2M ($8.15M base salary, $2.2M signing bonus proration, $850k per game roster bonuses)
• 2027: $12.7M ($9.65M base salary, $2.2M signing bonus proration, $850k per game roster bonuses)

In addition, $5M of Lawrence’s 2026 base salary will become fully guaranteed the Friday after the Super Bowl.
