Lang took to social media to share the news that he plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Lang departs Mizzou after 2 seasons in the program. He has 3 seasons of remaining eligibility.

In 2023, Lang did not make an appearance and took a redshirt, extending his college football eligibility to 2027. Last season, Lang played in 12 games for the Tigers. He recorded 13 total tackles, including 7 solo stops and 3 TFLs, all sacks, for 24 yards lost.
Lang arrived in Columbia out of Troy (Missouri) Buchanan High School. As a prospect, he was rated 3-stars, the No. 16 player in Missouri, No. 63 edge and No. 654 recruit overall in the Class of 2023 on the 247Sports Composite. He picked up 17 offers, choosing Mizzou over Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Kansas State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Tennessee and others.
Mizzou has already wrapped up its spring practice. Lang and other undergraduates, however, have to wait until April 16 to officially enter the portal.
