Richardson visited in March and was offered shortly after by Baylor cornerbacks coach Paul Gonzales.
“Everything stood out. The facilities, the school, the fields, the coaches that were there with me,” he said. “Even Mrs. Callie Cameron, the Director of Player Personnel. She was awesome as well. There were just so many smiles and so much happiness around. That’s one major thing that I’m all about. Enjoying life, making others smile and just enjoying everything you can one day at a time. They were awesome. Talking to them alone just put a smile on my face. It also made me think like .. huh. Is Baylor the place for me?”
The 5-foot-10, 160-pound prospect posted 28 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass breakups on defense. On offense, he ran for 386 yards and five touchdowns.
Richardson has a 10.71 personal best in the 100m.
He is rated as an 85-overall, three-star prospect on 247 Sports.
