Washington’s standout moment came in Week 10 against TCU, where he rushed for 196 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries. This exceptional display earned him the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Player of the Week honor. Earlier in the season, he achieved 116 yards and two touchdowns in a victory over Texas Tech, earning Big 12 Conference Newcomer of the Week accolades.
High School Legacy
Before joining Baylor, Washington was a dual-threat athlete at Franklin High School, leading the team to consecutive Class 3A Division II state championships. In his senior year, he amassed over 2,000 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns, earning a semifinalist spot for the 2022 Mr. Texas Football award.
