WACO, Texas (FOX 44) – The 2025 Baylor Football schedule has been released!
Baylor Athletics says the Bears will play seven home games, and is one of just two schools in the nation to play 11 power-4 conference opponents as part of its 12-game regular-season. The schedule was released by the Big 12 Conference on Tuesday morning.
The Bears are fresh off an eight-win season which culminated in a trip to the Kinder’s Texas Bowl. They will face off with seven opponents at McLane Stadium as part of the 2025 schedule. The Bears will have a pair of idle weeks, hit the road for four conference games and will also face SMU in non-conference play on the road.
Nationally, only Baylor and TCU will play 11 power-4 opponents as part of their 2025 schedules.
Baylor Athletics says the Bears open the 2025 season with Auburn on Aug. 30 at McLane Stadium before hitting the road to face the Mustangs on Sept. 6, a team in their second season in a power-4 conference. Baylor will then host Samford on Sept. 13 to conclude its regular-season, non-conference slate.
Auburn and the Bears will be meeting for the first time since 1976, with BU owning a 2-1-1 series lead with the Tigers. It marks the first meeting for Baylor vs. SMU since 2016, with the Bears owning a 13-game winning streak in the series and looking to improve to 40-36-7 in the all-time series. The Bears are 2-0 all-time vs. Samford and will be meeting for the since time since the 2002 and 2005 seasons.
Conference play opens for Baylor with a home game against defending league champion Arizona State on Sept. 20. Arizona State won the only meeting in the series, in 1990.
Baylor Athletics says the Bears will hit the road to Stillwater, Okla., to face Oklahoma State on Sept. 27 and will then return home to host Kansas State on Oct. 4, before breaking for its first idle week of the year.
A season-long two-game road swing starts on Oct. 18 at TCU and continues in the Queen City on Oct. 25 at Cincinnati.
The Bears will open a two-game homestand by hosting UCF for Homecoming on Nov. 1, break for an idle week, and then host Utah on Nov. 15 at McLane Stadium.
There will be a trip to Tucson, Ariz., to face Arizona on Nov. 22 and a home clash with Houston on Nov. 29 will conclude the regular-season schedule for the Bears.
Fans can purchase new season tickets online, by phone at 254-710-1000 or in person at the Ferrell Center Ticket Office.
To renew season tickets, fans can lock in early bird pricing for Chairbacks ($475), Bench backs ($425) and Bench seats ($400). To ensure this early bird pricing, fans must renew by Feb. 13, 2025. Ticket prices will increase after that date. To renew season tickets, you can click here.
After several seasons of flat pricing, a market-based adjustment has been implemented across the stadium for the 2025 season. To balance this measure, Bear Foundation minimum seat options will not change at this time. New for the 2025 season, a new value-based season ticket for low-demand areas of the stadium has been added. Season ticket prices start at $200, including season tickets on The Dimmitt Garrison Family Berm. To see full pricing options, click here.
