Notre Dame’s powerhouse running back Audric Estime has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after a dominant junior season in which he rushed for 1,342 yards and 18 touchdowns. Estime, a bruising 5’11”, 227-pound back with explosive burst and surprising agility, was the centerpiece of the Irish offense throughout the 2024 campaign.
Estime’s ability to run between the tackles, break big plays in the open field, and pick up blitzes in pass protection made him a three-down back and one of the top rushers in college football. He recorded six 100-yard games and a season-high 178 yards against Clemson, helping lead Notre Dame to a 10-win season.
Scouts project Estime as a late first- to early second-round pick, with several AFC teams reportedly eyeing him as a potential feature back. At the NFL Combine, he impressed with a 4.50 40-yard dash and elite numbers in the shuttle and bench press.
“Notre Dame made me a better player and a better man,” Estime said in a heartfelt farewell message. “Now I’m ready for the next level.”
The Irish now face the task of replacing one of the most physical backs in school history heading into 2025.
