Former Razorback Frank Ragnow retires from NFL due to injuries
DETROIT, Mich. — Former Arkansas Razorback Frank Ragnow of the Detroit Lions has announced his retirement from the NFL.
Ragnow is only 29 but has decided to retire due to injuries.
Ragnow was recruited by Sam Pittman when Pittman was an assistant coach to Brett Bielema. He played at Arkansas from 2013 to 2015 and was All-SEC his final year.
Ragnow earned Second Team All Pro honors in 2020, 2023 and 2024. He played in four Pro Bowl games – 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
