Michigan State football just made its third addition in less than a week.
KJ Deriso, a 2026 three-star defensive back from Whitewater High School in Fayetteville, Ga., announced his commitment to the Spartans via social media on Friday.
Michigan State landed three-star linebacker Braylon Hodge on Sunday and flipped three-star defensive back Brayden Thomas from Iowa State on Monday.
At 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, Deriso is listed as the No. 79 cornerback and No. 954 recruit overall in the class in the 247Sports Composite. His other offers include Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Kentucky.
Michigan State now has seven players committed to its 2026 class and they’re all three-star prospects. In addition to the three pickups in the last week, the others are quarterback Kayd Coffman, tight ends Eddie Whiting and Joey Caudill and offensive lineman Eli Bickel.
