Mizzou Spends $31.7 Million In NIL Money To Make Sure They Put Championships In Trophy Case: REPORT

The athletics department of the University of Missouri has spent over a whopping $31 million in name, image and likeness (NIL) compensation for their student-athletes over the last year, according to financial records obtained by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The NIL spending from Mizzou shows the university’s push forward to make sure that they’re a competitor in football and men’s basketball given the circumstances of modern college sports that has created an athlete market similar to professional sports.
