Caitlin Clark, through her foundation and in partnership with Hy-Vee, donated $300,000 to Feeding America via the Food Bank of Iowa. This donation is part of a larger effort to combat food insecurity in the Midwest and is expected to provide 3 million meals for the community. The money was raised through a roundup campaign at Hy-Vee stores in March.
The donation is a tangible demonstration of Caitlin Clark’s commitment to giving back and is not considered a publicity stunt. Her foundation is also working on building long-term infrastructure for food distribution, particularly in rural areas and food deserts. The donation was announced alongside the re-launch of “Caitlin’s Crunch Time” cereal at Hy-Vee, with 100% of the proceeds from the cereal going to the Caitlin Clark Foundation.
Caitlin Clark’s charitable work also includes partnerships with other organizations such as Scholastic, where she donated books to children. She has also donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa, providing warm gear and sports equipment.
