Sha’Carri Richardson is looking win her first Olympic medals during the 2024 Games in Paris. Richardson, 24, is expected to compete in two events: the women’s 100m and women’s 4x100m relay. She’s expected to contend for the gold in both events. The Paris Olympics is her first after being unable to compete at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Ajax will need to cash in on either Chuba Akpom or Brian Brobbey in order to sign Burnley’s Wout Weghorst this summer. According to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, the Amsterdam outfit will need to sell in order to buy before the window closes later this month. Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Joe Milton wants everyone to know his proper nickname. Milton, a third round selection by the New England Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft, took to Instagram this week to point out that his nickname isn’t “Bazooka Joe”, noting that it’s actually “Rocket”. “Let’s clear the air, it’s not Bazooka Joe, it’s Rocket,” wrote Milton.
Pitching during the 2024 Major League Baseball season was always in Rich Hill’s plans, he was just in no rush to sign a deal. Now the former Boston Red Sox pitcher is gearing up to show what he has in hopes to sign a deal with someone in the final months of the campaign. Hill will pitch for interested teams in Waltham on Friday, FanSided’s Robert Murray reported on Wednesday. The Cowboys were without a couple of key players for much of last season, but they are looking to make an impact in 2024. On Wednesday, the College Sports Communicators, along with the AP and Fiesta Bowl Organization, released a watch list for Comeback Player of the Year. Oklahoma State had two of the 89 players on the list, with wide receiver De’Zhaun Stribling and linebacker Justin Wright. Including the Cowboys’ selections, 11 players from the Big 12 made the watch list, with quarterbacks Cam Rising (Utah) and Jalon Daniels (Kansas) among the top names.
