She was appointed an Alternate Person (AP) Reserve by the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) to the women’s 4×100-meter relay squad to the Olympic Games in Paris. Nelson tied her season-best time of 11.04 seconds to finish third in the women’s 100-meter race at the LA Chaux-de Fonds Challenger meet. Tennessee will play in the 2024 West Palm Beach Classic on Dec. 20-21, the program announced Friday. The other teams in the tournament field have not been announced. The event will be held at Keiser University with game times and broadcast information to be released at a later date. Transfer guard Samara Spencer played in last year’s tournament with Arkansas.
