A Hungarian authority tasked with defending the nation’s sovereignty against foreign influence has launched an investigation into the Hungarian branch of international anti-corruption organization Transparency International. Transparency International Hungary said Tuesday it had received a six-page letter announcing the investigation from Hungary’s newly formed Sovereignty Protection Office, which has been condemned by rights groups as a means to stifle dissent. The authority requested financial and operational information and said it had initiated “a specific and comprehensive investigation” into Transparency International Hungary’s activities. Over halfway finished with training camp and with their first preseason game coming up on August 12th, the Buffalo Bills have had training camp battles happening, star plays, poor plays, and injury updates as well. One of those injury updates involved Bills offensive tackle Spencer Brown, who has had a mini history of injuries early on in his career. INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Fever star rookie Caitlin Clark is officially a WNBA All-Star. Clark, 22, was named an All-Star on Tuesday night. She is one of the 12 players that will make up Team WNBA in Phoenix later this month. She is averaging 16.1 points and 7.0 assists per game. After a slow start, the Fever are 8-13 and sit in ninth place in the standings. Clark’s growth has been an important part of Indiana’s turnaround, including their four-game winning streak in the middle of June.
