Shortly before the start of the 2024 NFL Draft, reports began to surface that the Los Angeles Rams were looking to trade upfrom pick 19. The Rams had not drafted a player in the first round since 2016 so Les Snead and Sean McVay were obviously eager to end that streak. Alex Verdugo made an immediate impact in his return to Fenway Park and didn’t hide his emotions from the Red Sox. The Las Vegas Raiders have been active in addressing the wide receiver position after the draft but DeAndre Carter wasn’t part of their plans.
