Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive back Jimmy Johnson, a three-time All-Pro and member of the All-Decade Team of the 1970s, has died. He was 86. Mr. Johnson’s family told the Pro Football Hall of Fame that he died on Wednesday night at home in the San Francisco area after a lengthy illness.Mr. Johnson, inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1994, played his entire 16-year pro career with San Francisco. Michigan football is among the finalists for top-50 wideout Quincy Porter in the 2025 recruiting class according to a list released by the Bergen Catholic standout on Monday. Porter cut his recruitment down to six teams which includes Michigan, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma, and Alabama. Porter is 6-foot-3, 190 pounds and ranked 49th overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. The Ravens have officially signed their entire draft class. According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, the team has signed third-round linebacker Adisa Isaac, fourth-round wide receiver Devontez Walker, fifth-round running back Rasheen Ali, and sixth-round quarterback Devin Leary to their rookie contracts. Isaac followed up a breakout 2022 campaign with an even better performance in 2023.
