Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel provided some injury updates regarding Bol Bol and Damion Lee at practice today.
Bol has missed two straight games with a right foot sprain, and Lee has missed the entire season after undergoing right meniscus surgery a few weeks before the start of the year.
Vogel ruled them both out for tomorrow’s game in New Orleans against the Pelicans (25-17). Both are now officially listed as out and are the only two names on the Suns (22-18) injury report.
Vogel gave further updates on their statuses.
“Bol is gonna be out tomorrow,” Vogel said. “(He) won’t travel with us, but still don’t feel like it’s long term.”
As for Lee, Vogel said: “Damion’s still a ways away, and we’re still hopeful to get him back before the end of the season.”
his will be Bol’s fifth of six matchups missed.
Bol had originally missed two straight games with a right ankle sprain suffered Dec. 5 against the Miami Heat before returning last Thursday against the Lakers.
Bol played 17 minutes in the Suns’ dominant 127-109 victory over the Lakers, posting six points on 2-of-3 shooting, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. In the four contests Bol has played in 2024, he has registered over double-digit minutes in all four after not recording a game over five minutes in 2023 with Phoenix.
In these four games, Bol is averaging 8.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 16.8 minutes off the bench.
