After outlasting the Houston Texans last week, the Baltimore Ravens find themselves just one step away from playing in Super Bowl LVIII.
The Ravens have been touted as the Super Bowl favorites for most of the 2023 NFL season and have a chance to prove the hype was warranted.
Baltimore will take on the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in what should be a tightly-contested matchup between the AFC’s best teams.
The Chiefs may not be as good as last year’s squad but are still a massive threat with a healthy Patrick Mahomes under center.
However, the Ravens’ defense is well-equipped to handle Mahomes and company as they’ve got playmakers in all three areas of the field.
Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey (questionable, calf) is expected to play in Sunday’s AFC title game, per source. Could be in a rotational role but he is slated to be up for gameday,” Fowler said
Humphrey has been dealing with injury, but when healthy is one of the best corners in the NFL.
As Fowler points out, Humphrey isn’t expected to get a full allotment of snaps but just having him out on the field is a massive boost to the pass defense.
The Chiefs’ passing attack hasn’t been nearly as potent as in years past, so they could be in for a tough day with Humphrey helping patrol the backend of the Ravens’ defense
