PHOENIX — After three full days off, the Phoenix Suns are back in action on Thursday as the Houston Rockets visit town.
When speaking with reporters earlier today at shootaround, Suns coach Frank Vogel announced that Eric Gordon (groin) and Bradley Beal (hamstring) would be questionable heading into Thursday.
“He [Beal] and Eric [Gordon] are both questionable, both participated today in non-contact stuff and we’ll see how they respond tomorrow,” said Vogel.
Jusuf Nurkic is dealing with a sore ankle but “should be good to go” against the Rockets. He might be listed as probable when the official injury report is released.
hoenix will also still be without Damion Lee, who had meniscus surgery prior to the start of the regular season and per Vogel weeks ago, Lee is anticipated to join the team in some fashion prior to the postseason.
After a big win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, the Suns currently sit at 34-24 and the No. 6 seed in the West (at this time of publish).
Houston, on the other hand, find themselves out of playoff positioning at the moment with a 25-33 record, though they did pick up a win over Phoenix last week when the two sides met.
The Suns and Rockets will also meet again on Saturday.
