Russell Wilson is still a member of the Denver Broncos, but with NFL free agency right around the corner, it’s possible we’ll see activity soon as the NFL Combine rages on. While the Broncos likely want to trade Wilson instead of releasing him, teams around the league realize it’s only a matter of time before the nine-time Pro Bowl QB gets placed on waivers.
There are a number of possible free agency fits for Wilson this offseason, but there could be a few teams that appeal to the 35-year-old QB more than others. As a team that is never truly out of the race, the Pittsburgh Steelers could be in that mix..
