Former LSU women’s basketball player Angel Reese graduated with her degree and her current Chicago Sky teammates had to celebrate.
Reese got her degree in interdisciplinary studies with concentrations and minors in communication studies, leadership development and psychology on Friday, according to an LSU news release. She completed her degree in four years, including two years at the University of Maryland.
Fellow Sky graduating teammates got their diplomas as well. Kamilla Cardoso completed her bachelors and Brianna Turner completed her masters.
Reese was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA draft in April. In her first game of the regular season, Reese posted 12 points and eight rebounds in the Sky’s 87-79 loss to the Dallas Wings.
