They take their lumps. They are often criticized, but we’re going to give Pro Football Focus some credit. In a world where someone making an honest living has to pay for what feels like ten streaming services to watch every Philadelphia Eagles game, PFF remains one of those platforms we pay premium pricing for.
The content is amazing. We can’t tell you how many times they have dropped one of those list articles and we logged on to see how many Birds were on the list. We check player ratings constantly. We are addicted to their stat engine (even if we don’t understand how they come up with some of the calculations).
Maybe there’s a knowledge gap here. Maybe PFF is imperfect, and they just get it wrong sometimes because, respectfully, we don’t know what they were looking at during the most recent Eagles game.
