Former Missouri football standout running back Tyler Badie had an injury scare on Sunday during the Denver Broncos‘ game against the New York Jets.
Badie caught a screen pass from quarterback Bo Nix on a third-and-13. As he turned up the field, New York linebacker Quincy Williams laid out a hard hit on Badie, who went down hard to the turf and fumbled the ball away. Badie was able to walk to the sideline under his own power and did not look to be hurt.
However, when Badie was on the sideline, he collapsed on the field and was taken out on a stabilizer and stretcher. The game was temporarily delayed while Badie received medical attention.
